About Us
Here at Media Arts & Culture, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits. We have been a part of and had the honour of running numerous short term RSL's broadcasts on the FM frequency since 2005. Our journey has led us to believe that the Muslim Community is in need of a voice to express the true message of Islam. We aim to revive the love of Allah (SWT) and the beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in the hearts of all people.

Radio Ramadan Food Packages
The month of Ramadan is the most blessed month in the Islamic calendar it is a month which teaches Muslims about self-sacrifice and obedience to the creator. We decided to appeal to the Bradford community to take part in a beautiful project to distribute food packages to the poor provinces in Pakistan. We raised a large amount of money and every penny that was raised was given towards this project. Unfortunately many institutes today take a certain percentage of the donation towards various costs resulting in a small amount of every pound benefiting the company and not the target of the donation. But we at Media Arts & Culture believe that neglecting the poor and preventing them from receiving the full benefit of the donation is unethical and will lead to an unfair distribution of wealth. This methodology allowed us to remove ourselves from the equation and focus on the target which allowed us to give every penny that was collected towards the project. We would like to thank the Bradford community and all participants who donated generously to this project.
Media Arts & Culture Water Pump Project
The Water Pump project was initiated because of Shahid Kaleem who had a beautiful idea and his wise words really touched the hearts of the other members of the Media Arts & Culture team. He said "There is so much poverty in our place of birth, the government doesn’t want to help them so the duty falls on us who are in a position to make a change, instead of building shelters let us look towards the prevention of starvation within that destitute community, and we will focus our attention towards food and water". When most people are looking towards constructing shelters and other institutes what purpose would they serve if there is no one to enter in them. If people die of starvation there is no point for a house. This is what inspired us and when we announced the project on the Radio the Bradford community; they contributed generously which enabled us to reach our target.

Prof. Mohammed Ayyaz Qureshi
ISLAMIC SCHOLAR & PRESENTER
Prof. Mohammed Ayyaz Qureshi is the heart of Media Arts & Culture radio broadcast because he brings his vast knowledge of Islam with the drive to encourage listeners of all ages to get involved in the topics being addressed with beautiful recitation of the holy Qura'n and references to the Hadith.
Faraz Qadri
PRESENTER & NAAT KHWAN
Faraz Qadri is an up and coming naat khwan who recites beautiful naats. He has been a member of the Media Arts & Culture team for 9 years and is an experienced presenter who presents request programs and kids competitions. There is a special blend of Islamic poetry and Naat recitation in his programs.
Razia
AALIMA & PRESENTER
She has been working with the Media Arts & Culture team for a number of years and is a very professional and hardworking person. Her vast knowledge and experience really shine in her structure and presentation of her programs. She is truely a role model for sisters in the Muslim community.
Ramana
AALIMA & PRESENTER
A very determined and enthusastic sister, who brings her own unique style to the broadcasting mic. She captivates the audience with emphatic speech and helps change percpectives with a vast knowledge on historical and current events.
